Controlling Concrete Dust

Concrete dust containing crystalline silica is particularly dangerous to your health.  Reports like those produced by the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health (concrete workers with chronic obstructive pulmonary symptoms and/or work-related lower respiratory symptoms are at risk of having a reduction in lung function - mild chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and individuals with concerns about the adverse effects (Toxic Concrete Dust - Silicosis) of concrete dust can help you take appropriate precautions and action to avoid breathing in an atmosphere where concrete dust is prevalent.
